What is Permit GPS?

Permit GPS is coming soon. When it launches, it will turn your permit PDF or written directions into the exact legal route drivers must follow. The driver will see the route on a map and get On Permit / Off Permit status in real time. You can preview the experience at /permit-gps.

Do I still need to file permits with the state?

Yes. LoadFlow does not file permits for you. It tracks expiration deadlines and will offer permit-aligned routing (Permit GPS) when that feature launches. Actual permit submission is handled by you or your compliance provider.

How does the driver portal work?

Each driver gets a unique link (or QR code) that you create in the Drivers section. When they open it — at roadside or in the office — they see only the compliance items and documents you've marked as visible on the inspection portal. No app install required. Try the demo at /driver-portal-demo.

How do I create an inspection link for a driver?

Go to Drivers, add or select a driver, and click "Create inspection link." You can copy the link or print a QR code. Only reminders with visibility set to "Show on inspection portal" appear on that driver's link. You can revoke or regenerate the link anytime.

Which plans include the driver portal?

Driver portal (inspection links) is available on Ultra, Mega, and Enterprise. Free and Pro have access to the compliance dashboard and reminders but not driver portal links. See Pricing for details.

What can I track with reminders?

Accepted Answer

Licenses, permits, insurance, certifications, registrations, or any expiration date. You set the name, due date, and who gets email alerts. Reminders fire before and after the due date on a configurable schedule.

Can I assign a reminder to a driver for the inspection portal?

Yes. When creating or editing a reminder, set visibility to "Show on inspection portal" and assign it to a driver. That item (and any driver-visible documents you attach) will appear on that driver's inspection link.

How do I authenticate with the API?

Use a JWT (from login) or an API key. Send it in the Authorization header as Bearer YOUR_JWT or Bearer YOUR_API_KEY. API keys are created in Account (or API Keys). Never expose API keys in frontend code.

What are the rate limits?

Limits depend on your plan. Free tier has lower limits; Pro and above get higher request limits. See the Pricing page and API docs for current limits. Responses include rate-limit headers when applicable.

Full API reference is at /docs. It covers reminders, drivers, auth, and compliance. Code examples and endpoint details are included. Permit route endpoints will be documented when Permit GPS launches.

Can I upgrade or downgrade plans anytime?

Yes. Plan changes take effect immediately. Upgrades are prorated; downgrades apply at the next billing cycle. Manage your plan from the Billing page when logged in.

Do you offer refunds?

We do not offer refunds, but you can cancel anytime. Access continues through the end of your current billing period.

What happens if I exceed my plan limits?

You'll get email alerts when approaching limits. Behavior depends on the feature: e.g. reminder limits may block new creation until upgrade; API may return 429. See Pricing and your Billing page for your plan's limits.

Can I try LoadFlow without signing up?

Yes. The driver portal demo (/driver-portal-demo) and Permit GPS preview (/permit-gps) work with no account. The compliance/API demo (/demo) shows sample API responses. To use the full dashboard, drivers, and reminders, you need a free account.
